8 or so bees in my bonnet
|||||the disposable heroes of hiphophresy-music and politics||]|
so inspired by the 365 project
i delved into the depths of my record collection
and came up with these two.
save the children: 10p(i gave 'em 50p and said keep the change, i knew this would be good)
this is very odd indeed
a record that has eight tracks of repeated phrases to teach your mockingbird or whatever.
each track goes on for about a minute.
mrs. william's vocal style ranges from the slightly odd to the downright sinister.
pity the poor birds that learned to talk from this monstrosity.
pretty it ain't
01: pretty boy
02: clever little boy
03: good morning
04: mama's little treasure
05: i love mama
06: mama's precious pet
07: give me a kiss
08: nursery rhyme medley (by mrs. william's budgie?)
an american classic from 1972
our overly chummy presenter teaches (in some kind of unintelligable protosalespeak) us how to sell life insurance by selling the wonderfully named rolls kanardly, utilising theatrical examples and cartoon musical segues.
worth the download. trust me.
