we love you!

he's so goddamn free he affords 14000 extra cops
and an entourage that makes j-lo look positively understaffed

so, good protesters, beware the eggs and tomatoes and placards of mass destruction
or it's off to to guantanamo bay with the lot of you.

(not that you'll get within a nautical mile of the guy...
spanish omlettes for tea then...)

Opinions of an American Tourist

The british have the most amazing sense of humor
and are lethal in the round abouts

Its amazing reading something about Bush from a British point of view
Wow, this was quite a post. Had MY mind bending.

Re: Opinions of an American Tourist

You should read it from the Australian media point of view. We're not as civilized or as kind the Brits when it comes to Bush :P

Re: Opinions of an American Tourist

Well I took a quick run through of your journal.

Sad but true, there is so little I know of Australia.

30 years ago I met a copper skinned aborigine and he was most charming.

I became very upset with Sir George Frazier's constant put down of the aborigine in the Golden Bough. I had a bad reaction to the rest of the book because of it.

Isn't its mass bigger than the U.S.?

Much of it is desert?

Its between New Zealand and Madagascar

Christmas is in the middle of summer.

It began as a penal colony and is now one of the most literate countries in the world.

It has some of the best reefs for scuba divers in the world.

I had a fantasy when I was in high school of living there some day.

and I really liked the music on the front of your LJ journal intro.

Thank you for tapping me and letting me know you were there.

Re: Opinions of an American Tourist

you mean they missed some? I think the 'final solution' was well into place back in the 1810's when Gov. Macquarie ordered "to kill every aboriginal from Sydney onwards". Sydney onwards meant just that. It was the order for genocide. The extermination of the entire aboriginal race Australia-wide.

Australia was a colony until 1901 under the laws and direct government of the English. The various Aust. gov'ts after that were 100% racist and I would say, just doing a straw pole, perhaps the figure is down to 60 or 70%. Hmm. Maybe 80%. Anyway, things haven't changed much when it comes to comparison with 1810.
