probably not, unless you could prove some kind of gross discrimination.

Make a new community; a super-liberal community.

no no. You have it all wrong.

Let me explain.

This guy, wouldn't know what or who Marx is (thus - "thug"). Let alone have read. That's one thing. The other is what people in the United States call 'liberal', everyone else on the earth calls conservatism, or ultra-conservatism. And what they refer to as conservative or Republican in the U.S., every else outside the U.S. calls fascism.

See? Easy. Now you understand.

If this guy is into banning people because their opinions are against his, then he's as liberal as Karl Rove.

Don't sweat it too much, honey. This community ain't worth joining.

actually, he banned me because of my lack of opinions, apparently
(see rule 4)
which is ironic.

I consider all of those links to be of interest and appropriate for the liberal community. They certainly deal with liberal issues. The game is really interesting, a Sim City/Civilization cross with politics.

Did marxist_thug tell you why he deleted the entry? I'm guessing no one bothered to click on the links and read the articles.

i contraviened rule 4

4. When posting a link, please add your thoughts about the link because this community is interested in your perspective, not just the link.
Add some commentary, for crying out loud. Spamming the community with links is frowned upon - this community is not intended to be a lazy man's newsfeed.

here's what i wrote back:

'If someone insults your sensibilities, ignore them'

i would be grateful if you could reinstate me to the liberal community

and just so i don't raise your ire in the future,
what is the minimum length for opinions?

do they have to be a least one sentence, more, or can they just be a phrase?

it seems strange to me that in a community called liberal there should be such a petty rule.
maybe you should rename it 'liberal commentary only' or 'liberal rants' or something?

banning people for minor infringements like this seems rather illiberal to me. i guess i shouldn't be surprised...
'All of this is interesting, because one thing I am most certainly not is a liberal.' - marxist_thug

'it is not the right answer, but the right question, that is important'
