8 or so bees in my bonnet
have been looking for sheet music for sean
who's currently serving 5 years
for intent to supply cannabis (he should be out in 3)
he's been in a year and they've just let him have a keyboard
you can't send books
so basically i'm writing him a long letter
on the back of pieces of music.
i've done quite well so far
got some satie some bach and some pink floyd
(yes he's rather good. i kinda miss him tinkling away on something)
i'm running out of things to say about big brother
the latest films and that rather large explosion,
but it is good to write an actual letter
for a change
i like to doodle
especially flow charts...
hmmmmnnn...now, how many sheets can i fit in an envelope?
anyway if you like to play the piano you may like
i'm writing him a long letter
on the back of pieces of music..
what a sneaky AND thoughtful idea.
i have to thank lisa (his girlfriend) for that
if you ever WANT to send him books, you might try pilfering or purchasing some of those little stickers (with the address and store name and number on them) from a small bookstore that they insert on the inside cover of a book to show that it's been purchased from their store, and send them to him from the store's address, i know that they don't allow prisoners to receive books here unless it looks like they're receiving them directly from a shop, and that's what we do. might work, might not.
he can have a keyboard and not books? what kind of a weird prison is that?
they have a library. i think they have a blanket ban on parcels.
but you can't send books to the library either. the pen is obviously more dangerous than the tune, or something. but i know what you mean, it doesn't make much sense to me either.
your icon is fabulous btw. 34kb. nice work.
i'll pass on the compliment. as usual, i stole it from someone.
i suppose it's easier to stab someone with a pen than to drop a piano on them.
