8 or so bees in my bonnet
|||||no one lives forever - soundtrack||]|
the new album's coming on well, so well in fact, that it might be another double.
working title: damage limitation exercise
there have been lots of happy accidents, and random finds. and you know when that kind of thing is occuring you have to go with it. my muses rock!
here are some snippets:
nerina pallot - geek love (rrf remix)
rrf-military industrial complex
rrf-oh well part 2
bjork vs all saints vs avro part - black brothers (rrf mashup mix) fratres_remix3

So that's where you've been...busy composing. I like the Nerina Pallot & the Bjork/ Arvo Paart. Did Fanshawe get alook in anywhere?

awesome. i really love your stuff. i look forward to it. where/how are you releasing the album?
thank you very much. nice to be appreciated.
the album release is, one might say, limited.
independent labels wont touch us because of the sample clearing nightmares.
and i suspect majors just think we are uncommercial.
if you would like a copy email your landmail,
you can send me something of your stuff in return?

i'd love to send you some mayfairgrin records. i didn't know you dug it. you're right about most indie labels. and yeah, you're not really marketable to the mainstream. try mimicing one of the tooth&nail bands and then you'll have it made. there's always open doors for professional releases though. i help run a small idie label called mannequin oddio media
. the releases are humble, yet very professional. depending, that might be an option for you to consider.
my email addres is firstname.lastname@example.org
send me an email and i'll reply w/ my box address. talk to you soon, hopefully!
