my post, this post, was deleted by a moderater from
the philosophy community. and whilst i am entirely used to being banned,
i must say i was surprised by this piece of censorship.
and even more surprised by the fact that my cutting riposte wasn't banned:

why are some ideas dangerous and disturbing to the status quo?
why isn't kierkegaard banned for being too depressing?
how come spinoza and his 'mere ideas of reason' are not labeled as so much heretical nonsense?
why isn't descartes dismissed as 'a maths geek with an attitude'?
philosophy (if it is what it says it is) has a duty to engage with with the maverick, if not agree with it.
think about it.
it doesn't make a lot of sense...
